there would be a lot more good and bad choices made and honestly maybe for better or worse because they spend less time trying to convince the masses and more time on better ideas

I think society would be positively impacted. Many politicians rely on ignorance to get votes.

There would be less Democracy and less say-so among the people because only a few citizens would be able to represent their opinions.
