I think we should invest in modern technology to lose the physical/human work force required for certain jobs, such as labor/sweat shops. However, we must also make sure that the jobs lost are replaced, such as if we lost work to robotic hands doing labor, their should be jobs for maintenance of these robots

No, because then there will be more people without jobs.
